Hello TRF I hope that you all enjoyed the holidays. I¡¯ve been back and forth with the decision to get a Chronomat 44 for quite some time now. Specifically the 30th Anniversary Edition Airborne. I finally came across me that I could not pass up. I do plan on getting the black canvas strap that has the red rubber from Breitling. Enjoy the photos. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Polishing a PP
Is polishing a PP a good or bad thing?Background: I am getting serious about pulling trigger on a used 5146, can't decide WG or YG. A few have shown up here by trusted sellers and polishing is an option on used.If PP is in pretty good shape with no obvious flaws is there benefit or drawback to polishing it?Thanks

Possible discount on 5712's?
I am going to order one monday from the Paris boutique, was wondering if a discount was a possible thing or if it's no use to mention it?Since in many boutiques, Panerai for example, they look at you when you ask for one as if you were crazy, if it's the same thing with PP better to avoid than to get the cold shower answer: Non Monsieur, Patek philippe does not do discounts, with that special tone of voice, where you have the impression the guy is thinking you are buying a 20K + watch and you want a discount? How very cheap of you¡Went there just one time they were quite courteous, since there was nobody we talked about watches with the salesman and I tried a few, quite nice, whereas in some boutiques the experience was terrible, again Panerai for example, you feel like a homeless who came in to ask for a few bucks by the way they talk to you, I don't know in the US but here some boutiques and AD's are awful whereas some are great.The worse is in Ukraine where I live, in luxury watch

DaytonaC Desperation
I am lucky in that I have this.........But I am absolutely desperate for the black dial to go with it. So I just wanted to say even though I have a lovely white dial Daytona I still feel the pain of not being able to get, at retail pricing, the next watch I want.I also want the new Rolex Pepsi and BB58 but the Daytona is the one I cannot stop thinking about!
