As you may guess from the name, the Fireman Storm Chaser pays tribute to Ball Watch explorer Dr. Josh Wurman. The white on black design symbolizes lightning in the dark, and the caseback bears an engraving of ¡°the Doppler On Wheels¡± vehicle that lets Wurman get up close and personal with tornadoes. Got an Explorer.
I stopped by a local shop today just to have a look. The dealer was a Rolex AD amongst a bunch of other fine brands. I had no intention of buying a watch today but I walked out with this little Explorer. First Rolex ever, BTW.It's got that double clasp bracelet thingy.I found that the other models were simply too large for my wrist. I wouldn't be comfortable with the newer, larger style so many people wear today. I hope you'll agree that this fits my wrist perfectly.
