Invicta 14611 wrist watches news:
Popular “budget” brand, Techn¨¦ looks to have another winner on their hands with the recently released Merlin Collection. The military inspired pieces – reminiscent of airplane cockpit instrumentation and early mil watches – are available in a time (with seconds) only or a multi-function version. ?The movement inside of each is a Seiko Instruments quartz movement, specifically the VD78.A quick look at the specs reveal a very moderate 38mm size with 20mm lugs and a mineral crystal. Water resistance is shallow at 50M, which is logical for a watch with pilot-styling. The watch has a number of options for the strap at purchase: NATO, canvas or cowhide leather options are available for each model. The multi-function provides day of the week and date over the time only version.Prices for the time only models are $190-$200 and the multi-function runs $240-$250, depending on your strap choice.Tecnh¨¦ has continued to put out well designed military-inspired timepieces and
I have a khaki auto chrono in brown that I recently had a problem with. I went to wear it the other day, set the date and time, and then started to wind the watch. After 5-6 winds, the crown suddenly became tough and would spin the rotor as I wound the watch. I took it in to a local watchmaker this morning (he was recommended to me, but he is not an AD. He is a 3rd generation watchmaker who has been in the area for about 45 years) He said he would have to probably remove the movement to fix it, replace the seals, and regulate it. The watch is only about a year and a half to two years old, and I am the second owner. Because it has a leather strap, it does not get wet. I was told it would cost in the range of $ 350 for all of the work. I don't have more information as to the specific problem, but I wanted to know if anyone else had this problem and if that quote sounded right. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
hey all. is this brand of watch any good.SWISS ARMY 241352 ALLIANCE SPORT CHRONO 36.5mm NEW NEW!
Hi all,As an update to my recent thread re AP ROO and small wrist, I bought the Panda in the end.. Taking your advice I got the short OEM strap as well and it fits great.. Thanks guys! (Pics in the other thread..)Just something I'm concerned about though.. After giving it a good wind (say 30 winds) and wearing it for a full day, I noticed that after taking it off, it stops in about 13 hours.. This has happened twice already. Is this normal? I thought it's power reserve was 3 days..This is a brand new watch as well so servicing shouldn't be an issue.. Kindly let me know your thoughts guys.Cheers!
I sent my PO Chrono in for service under warranty. It just came back and I am putting it up for sale. Does anyone know if Omega provides another 24 months and if it is transferrable? It would be nice to be able to provide the buyer with a full warranty.
