Jacob & Co. JCMATH14 wrist watches news:
For a guy who is generally revered by some of the most well-funded watch collectors in the world, Mr. Philippe Dufour is a pretty humble and approachable guy. It isn't that he doesn't have an ego ¨C everyone with the ability to admire the fruits of their own work clearly has an understanding of exactly how good they are ¨C but rather that Mr. Dufour is an advocate of hard work and dedication above all else (including how people perceive him). In fact, I would suggest that having a waiting list of orders a few years long and being able to politely say "no" to new requests makes having an ego totally unnecessary. Should Philippe have one of those days where he is questioning himself, no doubt all he needs to do is be reminded that if he lived another 100 years, his work schedule could be easily booked. What I've always personally liked about Philippe Dufour as a man is his straight-forward way of approaching watchmaking. None of the glitz or smoke and mirrors of today's watch industry even
Consider this free SEO (search engine optimization) and business advice, but I just want to see more businesses doing wise things like this to increase customer attention. If you sell anything online, especially watches, you are in an highly competitive market and at least 50% of the battle is just getting people to your website in the first place. This is one method that I believe will be particularly effective in not only getting people to recognize and visit your site more often, but also help you increase sales. This method uses your best friend, and likely competitor, eBay. Why not leverage the traffic power of the a website consistently listed in the world's top 10 most visited websites? eBay's traffic is a serious force to be reckoned with. I will guarantee you that most serious watch buyers will at least check eBay once before making a purchase. There are also that countless number of "causal consumers" not specifically looking to purchase something, but receptive to a good deal
hey guys, i'm looking around for a better 'daily driver' (the fossil's aren't doing it for me anymore, lol) and came across a good deal on a navy regatta alarm. does anyone have one of these? what do you think of it?
How hard is it to pull the crown out on yours? My TT3 is a nail breaking experience...anytime I do an adjustment trying to stop the second hand dead at 12 often results in slipping, bent nail...suffice, I dread having to adjust the watch. Of the 7 watches in this household, the others are quite easy to pull the crowns and such. Screw downs I especially like.
I noticed in the 2016 Patek catalogue, the dial of the 5227j and r is listed as lacquered ivory, and the pic of the 5227r shows a very white looking dial. However, all of the 5227j/r's I've seen have a dial that looks quite off-white, even yellowish. Does anybody know if the dial color has changed from before 2016 (more off white) to after (more white)?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
