I received my watch on-time and in perfect shape from [WEB](I try to make sure -ticket items are from [WEB]). The watch is beautiful and works great--I only wish I could afford another watch--maybe an automatic. The watch is absolutely a great value on [WEB]; though, you will not get the warranty card with it. In my opinion, the extra $500-$600 that you'd spend from an authorized dealer just for a two year warranty is not worth it. The duct is a quality duct that will likely not malfunction within two years, not to mention that often will not honor the warranty, claiming that the damage is from excessive force, etc. If you did need a repair done within two years (or any time), they are relatively inexpensive even at authorized repair shops/dealers.

but glad I brought it. Haven't posted here in ages. I love checking back in once a year or so. It's under my thick coat they gave me to stay warm but it's there! I wore it the whole time, even for the polar plunge in Antarctic waters. They suggested taking it off when I jumped in off the ship but I wasn't about to just leave it in my room unlocked. Buying in the next few days. My AD surprisingly has a BLNR in stock and getting the submariner I ordered a few days later. I��m leaning toward the sub because of the glide lock. But also curious how the GMT stacks up with water. Is has the trip lock crown? What pressure is it rated to? What other thoughts do you guys have? Any info appreciated. Evening Team,I'm keen on this watch, and would be grateful to hear from LV owners and others what they think is a good price in the current market. I ask because, according to Chrono24 and Watchrecon, they retail for anything between $8-25k, with the average being around the $10-11k mark. I note that later M models can be picked up for around $15k new and unworn, and earlier models (including Flat Four models) can be found for $17-25k unworn. What with the SS Sky Dweller being a difficult watch to find, I'm debating the merits of parking that one for a time and getting the LV instead. They are much easier to find, and completely fabulous.For a watch with box and papers in mint condition, what is the most you'd pay? Would you pay more and get one new and unworn?I intend to keep it, and would look after it.Best,TA
