Cartier Cartier 10352 wrist watches news:
Grieb & Benzinger themselves personally shared with me that they never thought they would make a watch quite like this. Called the Area 51, this absolute unique timepiece borne of hand-decoration and fantastic German artistic skills is about space aliens. Oh, and we'd like to have a little "caption contest" with readers, just read more belowDon't forget that the client personally needed to OK the brand sharing details about the watch. Any brand that produces custom watches for special customers don't share the designs by default. In fact some of biggest Swiss watchmakers have impressive bespoke services producing amazing watches that you will never see. We've seen someand I have to say some of the world's most high-end unique timepieces are either awe-inspiring, or just plain hilarious. The people who brought you marvels such as the Black Tulip (our webmaster's favorite watch of all time) and Blue Danube also bring you shocked-looking metallic 1950's era movie space aliens with prec
I recently bought a beautiful watchthat had terrible lume (and the lume in advert pics was the deal sealer in my initial purchase of the item)- I'm swapping models, but if the lume is still not good I'm going to ship it to a regional watch works company and get it beefed up- my question:green lume v/s white lume- are those terms based on the glowing color OR the color as it appears on the dial (white)?thanks
I purchased this watch about 7 years ago off of ebay. I have beat the crap out of it as the pics will show, if I can get the pics to load. It was listed as British SAS enlisted issue. It has an eta quartz movement and originally came with a nylon strap. I put the bracelet on it. Looks way better. It was listed as water resistant to 200 meters. The listing stated the officers got the automatic movement. The markings on this one have me completely stumped. Help. Oh yea, it has a screw down cown.ThanksLarry
Hey! New to the board. Wanted to stop by and introduce my Breitling Bentley Mark IV. I was captivated by it from the moment I saw it.However the watch has let a troubled life. The day after the 2 year am warrantee expired it started running fast. 4-5 minutes gained each day. Breitling honored the warrantee and conducted a service. For the next 2 years (see a pattern yet) the watches worked fine but then started gaining 4-5 minutes a day and sung quickly when taken off. Again off to Breitling where I was charged $450 for a service.Another 2 years later the watch just stopped while I was wearing it. Not good. So I took it back to Tourneau who sent it to Breitling. Apparently there was a lot of back and forth, Breitling sent the watch back no less than 4 times. Then when it was tested at Tourneau it didn't meet specs so back to Europe. For nearly 6 months it was back and forth. Was beginning to wonder if they were just going to give up and give me a new one.Two years after
I saw in the comments of this article (https://.hodinkee/articles/ro...26710-blro-new) that Rolex will have the new watches at the authorized dealer May 12th for try-on. I'm curious as to whether this poster was speaking of his local AD, or that applies to all ADs? Looking forward to trying this beauty on!
