JS Watch Co. is Iceland's premier watch maker based out of Reykjavik. Though I can't say for sure if they are Iceland's only watch maker. As small brands go, they have done some nice things and their latest offering is a special product for them. It really takes the Icelandic heritage to a new level, combining a range of design features and cultural elements. Poor date readability of 5164
Anyone has this issue? The way for me to check date is to bring my wrist to my chest level. Worse thing is the usual hours that I need to read the date is in the morning. And often the date hand in the subdial is blocked by the hour hand in the morning from 4-8am. Anyone sharing the same frustrations?Otherwise no complaints. This is my fav Patek. Saving up for a 5712/A for its beautiful blue dial and micro-rotor. The date subdial is slightly bigger here. Wonder if it has the same date readability issue as well. If so, I'm considering to go for the 5726 instead.
