Follow-up thoughts from Brian of Chicago who won the February 2013 watches-dealer watch giveawayIt was a delightful surprise when I was contacted by Ariel, and was told that I won the monthly drawing contest for a Casio Pro Trek watch from watches-dealer. While I like to consider myself a watch enthusiast, I had to admit that I had a severe lack of adventure/sport watches. While I had the standard tool watch, or the long lasting quartz watch, I didn¡¯t have a watch where if I were to get lost in the woods, or I had to jump out of a plane, I knew that I would be able to focus on whatever is at hand, and not worry about my watch failing me, much less helping me survive.The watch comes in a pretty nice wooden (pine?) box. Thoughts on Omega Caliber 3603 Movement
Hello,I'm considering an Omega Aqua Terra Chronograph GMT with the 3603 movement. I like how this movement has the 3 sub-dials as opposed to the 2 sub-dials of the new 9300/9301 movements (if and when they come to this particular watch). From what I hear, the new movements based on the caliber 8500 are a lot better then the old Omega movements, being completely in-house etc. However, I really like the look of the older version with 3 sub-dials.Any thoughts on whether the old 3603 movement is any good? Or should I wait to see how the new Aqua Terra Chronograph GMT will look, when it comes out?Thanks a lot.

Need some guidance between 5327 vs 5320
I was initially trying to aquire a 5712for the past year and now w the price increase I¡¯m not sure the piece is really worth it to me at that valuation so I decided the step up my game. I¡¯m not looking to flip the watch and will ultimately give it to my son. I like aspects of both watches but leaning toward the more classic 5327. From a collectors point of view, which do you think will have better valuation 30yrs down the road should he need to sell. I¡¯m not looking for investment or profit just something he can sell if he needs to in the future that will yield him the highest return. I know we don¡¯t have crystal balls and that¡¯s why I think a collectors opinion is best because they will base it on what¡¯s important in the current situation and what people value as important.
