- Cheap-looking, oversized, hunk of shiny metal. I was appalled when I received it. No way would I give this as a gift to anyone, especially not to my husband, from whom it was intended.

Cartier Cartier 26442 wrist watches news:
After recent news, Christopher Ward is more likely to be known for their affordable in-house SH21 movement than anything else, but if you look our archives, you'll find most of our reviews are of their pilot's watches. We've looked at the C8 MKII, the C10, the C11 and the C1000 Typhoon, all of which offer something different. The C8 MKII is fairly classic pilot, reminiscent of IWC MK series, the C10 is a more formal, with a touch of navigator DNA, the C11 is a modern instrument panel-style aviator and the C1000 Typhoon is a dark and stealthy modern pilot realized in ceramic. Today, we're going to take a look at a follow up to the C8 MKII; the C8 Regulator. What sets this watch apart is indicated clearly in the name; it's a regulator. This fairly uncommon complication splits the hour, minutes and seconds into 3 separate dials. Typically, as is the case with the C8, you have the hours and seconds as secondary sub-dials, and the minutes about the center. The concept behind this watch, as i
Like some of you I'm sure, in my travels I've been fortunate to see several Omegas in particular divers of different styles and in various sizes worn by both ladies and gents. The most prolific model has to be the Bond followed by the 2254.50 though I've seen Constellations as well, gracefully adorning various wrists. Mainly the Connie 95 style though. I've not as yet seen any Double Eagles. Speedies get their share of being spotted again here in both ladies and gents' models. The Ladies' model is truly impressive in the flesh or should that be on flesh I have to say I've been delighted to see an increasing number of Aqua Terras too and once saw someone having one nearly like that which I had. I say nearly because of those unique Railmaster hands on mine. De Villes because of their more dress-style character are more of a rarity as you'd expect and I've only seen a chronometer and a GMT, both with black dials. It brought home to me what had been discussed recently in Seandavid's thre
I bought my first Oris today and I am super impressed by it already. I got an amazing deal which is probably due to economics, but I am really excited about this watch. It is lightly used and I am having it polished back to brand new status right now by an Oris dealer. If anyone can shed some additional light on this particular watch, I'd love to know more about it. It is exactly what I was looking for! I have the black band alligator band currently but I ordered the brown one below today as well...This is not an actual photo, but it is the exact same:Try and guess how much I payed for this beauty? Thanks very much for any input you may have, John ps. Will post actual pics in about a week when it's finished being polished.
Would any of you kind folk on TRF happen to have a copy of the orange Go Offshore book they could sell me?
Just saw this watch for the first time. And I have to say - as a formal dress calatrava I like what I see. It is an enamel dial - which from my understanding is usually reserved for the much pricier pieces... (Correct me if wrong). I like the hobnail, the case shape and lugs, the enamel dial with the black feuille hands. To me it just seems to work where most other plain formal calatravas seem too old for ME - this one works. What is TRF take on this piece?
