Hi All,Some of you may know of me and my blog from the Rolex side of the fence here at TRF. I recently added a 97' tritium Speedmaster Pro to my collection and wrote a lengthy review on my blog about it. You can read it at the link below, and rest assured, there are no ads, its just my personal passion blog about watches Love to know what you all think!.wristtimes/blog-1/201...peedmaster-pro
Anyone here ever deal with them?Have a year old po that water seeped into the first time in the water. Just wondering what kind of fight I'm in for.
I want to get a steel aquanaut as my summer watch, we live by the coast so down on the beach and out on the boat every nice day the English weather system gives us.I went to try a 5164A today and loved it. But it's just a little pricey for my expected usage and I don't need the dual time as it will be for day trips only. So I thought a 5167A would be perfect. My concern is that losing the buttons on the left and the thinner case will really make the watch lose its presence as it might wear much smaller.Has anyone compared these two side to side to tell how they wear? Does the 5167A wear much smaller on the wrist?
I'm really considering getting a 5167. Love the look of this watch. Went down to my local AD and tried on a similar watch (5164) as they didn't have a 5167 in stock. My question is this: How does this rubber strap fit/feel on a smallish wrist ( Maybe 7 inches or so- I take 2 links out of a current Rolex Oyster). I'm concerned about the top part where it comes off the watch. It seemed to bow out wider than my wrist but maybe this was due to the way I had it on and because it was new. It comes with a pretty large bracelet and I had it clasped. Will it form fit better once cut to my specs? Does it loosen up or mold more to the wrist once it's cut and worn? Maybe a silly question but I would love to hear peoples experiences.
