I've been presented the opportunity to purchase this watch. I'm hoping it's a pre-1970 model, but can't seem to locate it in any of the reference catalogs. What's throwing me off is the lack of second markers on the dial. I've been provided the following information about its movement: 17 jewels, model #694A.Any help determining the model, year, and value (after repair, servicing, and addition of a new strap) would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.image.jpgFor a larger image . . . flickr/gp/rjfos/9vgM1Z

Its my first modern Omega, and I have to say I am really impressed. The whole watch oozes class, way better than any foto can make it look, good weight and really heavy feel to the bracelet.I have it on a Nato at the moment as I don't really like the bracelet, a bit too bling. I have a mesh on the way.I was expecting it too be nice but not be blown away. I bought this to use as a daily beater, to be beaten, not worn at the office 9-5. I feel guilty about doing that now.Sorry about the quality of the foto!
Guys, looking to get my first PP here. Something elegant and yet fit for every day use (at work). Obviously a solemn decision here, as it will be some time before I can get my second one 5205G looks very very nice indeed, but am tempted to go one notch lower to start, with a 5296G or 6000G. Appreciate any advice/suggestion.
