Tissot T0494101105301 wrist watches news:
I have been following Uniformwares' products since they first released their 100 series. In fact, I am the proud owner of a mustard yellow 100 that I wear pretty often. What makes the Uniformwares line so intriguing, is that they are one of the few brands on the market that mixes a passion for watches with the aesthetic and restraint of experienced industrial designers. With designs that hearken to the philosophies of Dieter Rams and Max Bill/the Bauhaus, but an eye towards contemporary fashion, Uniformwares successfully reinvented, or perhaps reintroduced, classic design into the watch market. ?Furthermore, save the movements, every piece of these watches are designed from the ground up, which is extremely rare for a small company. So, I was extremely excited to see this morning that they had released a new line of watches: the 150 series. The 150's take the simple lines of their predecessors into the realm of the dress watch. With a slimmed profile, svelte but sturdy lugs and a more pr
I am thinking of replacing my very rough bezel/bezel insert on my latest Speedmaster find. It is a pre moon model 145022-69 (from early 1969) I have a couple of bezel options supposedly from this vintage but one has a hyphen over the first E in TACHYMETRE and the other one does not (see photos)The current bezel I have on does not have the hyphen and I am assuming it is the original so obviously I want to replace with the same, anyone know when this hyphen came in please, thanks. The crown on my 15400 had worked its way loose so I decided to send it in to Clearwater for a checkup and a pressure test to activate the 3rd year warranty. The whole process was extremely smooth and communication from AP was exceptional. I got phone calls and emails confirming they received my watch, time for completion (estimated 1 month), service confirmation and notification of shipping home. They performed a full service of the movement under warranty and extended the warranty by an additional 2 years. Best of all the whole process was completed in just 3 weeks. The watch was VERY WELL packaged when it returned and even got the nice AP travel case. I know many of you have dealt with APSC before and had similar experience but for those of you that haven't AP is among the best when it comes to service and customer satisfaction. Big thanks to Betsy, Guillaume and the rest of the AP team in Clearwater
Hi all,Posted the same thread in Rolex sub forum - thought to post the same to PP. Hope i'm not breaking any forum rules...I've been thinking what i'm getting next.. Hoping the experts here in this forum can give me suggestions.I'm after a Rose Gold watch with a leather/rubber strap. I already have 2 Rolexes SS and YG, and an AP ROO.The options i want in no particular order:1. Patek 5712r+ I never owned a Patek before. Would be a nice additon to my collection+ havent got a moon face watch.- AD (Rolex) person advised Patek is not an everyday watch and not as 'daily beater' as a Rolex. Note: any of Rolex & Patek owners agree with this? Why?- PP's are more expensive to service compared to Rolex. And takes longer if serviced in Sydney. Again, as the AD claims.2. Patek 5980r+ never owned a Patek before- Thicker compared to 5712. Note: this is as advised by AD; A rose gold watch should be a thin watch. Do you guys agree with this view? I'm a watch newbie, so im not sure what is the 'norm
