Rado R30248012 wrist watches news:
...hide the brassing at the bezel tips on my Square B?I'll let you all know; I just ordered a tube yesterday...
Can anyone suggest a watchmaker to service my Oris Small Seconds Diver? It keeps great time when hand wound but will sometimes stop while wearing it or on the winder. It's around 4+ years old and probably due for a general service and cleaning. But I dread the idea of sending it to an Oris authorized service center because it could be gone for 3-4 months based on what I know of owners sending in their timepieces for OEM service.PM's are welcome and appreciated on this subject. If there is a watchmaker here on the forum who knows the Oris movements, that would be a bonus.
I¡¯ve had a 15300 before and kinda regret selling it. However the bracelet always felt a tad too wide for my 6,3¡± wrist. Been researching about this 15450 but had some fears that it would be too small, bracelet too dainty, hard hit on the resale value bla bla bla. Today I pulled the trigger on a white dialed 15450st. It is none of what I feared it would be. It is not too small and bracelet fit was amazing. It wears almost like my 39mm explorer 1. So you folks who has been considering this size but had fears and concerns, dont worry. This 15450 is a timeless piece done right. Unless of course you¡¯re 7 foot tall with 7¡± wrist. But yea I¡¯ll post some pics that hopefully might enable some of you to grab one too.
PO 8500 Titanium will be released in 42mm this year. It is confirmed. I hope this news will make some if us PO fans happy.
The worst things about strap addiction...10. Being able to guess the strap maker from pics9. Looking at materials around you and thinking that'd make a good strap8. Finding places to hide those new straps7. Wanting to buy someone's dirty stained strap6. Spending more time matching leather, string, and buckle than what you're wearing5. Realizing you could have bought a new watch (or more)4. Owning straps you've never worn yet wanting more3. Caring more about the strap's looks than the watch it's attached to2. Waiting months for that new strap to arrive1. Needing to buy another strap while you wait for said new strap to arrive
