Bulgari Octo Bi-Retro Steel Ceramic Watch
I discussed a little while ago about how Bulgari (Bvlgari) incorporated Gerald Genta, and Daniel Roth (brands it already owned) into the Bulgari brand. You can read all about that and see a video interview with Bulgari talking about it here. The first product of this digestive affair is this watch. Basically a re-branded Gerald Genta Octo Bi-Retro, that has a bit more Bulgari-ness to it. The overall shape and dimensions of the watch are the same, but styling has been "face-lifted" and injected with some of the Bulgari DNA. It feels like the outcome of a? mad scientist combing the DNA of multiple animals, err, I mean watch brands. Why must these men play god!? This horological Chimera is without true soul. Soon we will have an army of "Bvulgenta" and "Daniel Gari" watches all over the place.Clearly the Gerald Genta style fits? better with Bulgari, than does Daniel Roth. Diamonds Are A... Man's Best Friend?
It is no secret that precious jewels have always featured in men's high-end, luxury watches. Yet it seems that these days more and more of these jewels are finding their way onto dials, bezels and bands, as opposed to only being incorporated in the complicated movements that power these incredible timepieces. One brand that has recently taken this new trend to the next level is Concord, with their new C1 Chronograph. Wearing your AP abroad
I will start to travel extensively to Latin America and, a bit less often, Asia. I would love to have my ROO 26470 SS as a regular travel companion, but wonder if you have any insights as to how safe it is to wear an AP in places like Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Rio, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Beijing and Shanghai. Please do not get me wrong - I am not making any assumptions here, just asking. Thanks and have a great w/e everyone.

So many Daytonas. AD in Singapore
Walked pass a famous AD in Singapore Chinatown district, they only have two big displays and one is full with Daytonas, except the SS C of course. I didn't take too many photos since I'm afraid they will yell at me lol, some of the older staff here can be a bit on the rude side. But the other display is full of Daytonas TT and Subs TT as well. Again sorry for the bad pic, tried to take photo secretly. Zoom in ones
