- I purchased this watch as a gift but I almost kept it for myself! It is very stylish and well made. I was very happy with the size as some women's watches are really on the wrist.

Movado 0606617 wrist watches news:
Audemars Piguet has released a new take on one of its most popular model, the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar. The latest iteration follows the release of the last QP wristwatch in 2012 with an upgraded and upsized movement, a slightly more complicated display, clearer dial, and larger case size. All details below. 1 OF 6 The Reference 26574.1220 comes in four different versions, two in stainless steel and two in rose gold with either a navy blue or silvered "Grande Tapisserie" dial. Due to the enlarged case size (now 41mm up from 39mm), the dial and its indications are more legible. Dial display includes: day, date, astronomical moon, month, leap year, and now the 52 weeks of the year displayed on an outer chapter ring via an third center-mounted hand. 2 OF 63 OF 6 4 OF 65 OF 6 The new automatic caliber 5134 movement, visible through the sapphire crystal case back, is slightly larger (to accommodate the new case) than the earlier caliber 2120

Hi All,I am new here, and new to watches in general. After many years not even wearing a watch (i'm a scientist), I have decided that it is time that I start a collection, and going to jump in with both feet. I don't really care about exclusiveness, or in house movements all that much, but am rather more interested in getting quality/respectable time-pieces for a reasonable price. Looking for style and value over bragging rights! So stock or modified ETA movements are fine with me. So then, I am in the market for 3 types watches as listed below. Any comments, guidance or suggestions on these choices or alternatives would be greatly appreciated. Oh, and I am going to purchase everything from authorized local dealers rather than online, so no worry about fakes or scams!1) Casual Dress Watch. Tuesday is my birthday and I told myself that if a watch I really liked came up on one of the deal-a-day sites I should just treat myself. Well, two came up.I had been eyeing the Citizen Eco-Drive Calibre 3100 because I think the design is really sharp, I like the idea of the second time zone and I really want something with a perpetual calendar. Lo and behold, JomaDeals pops up with a blue dial Calibre 3100 on a stainless steel band for $105. What's giving me pause is that I do prefer the black dial/black leather band combo, although I haven't found that version for less than $229. The blue dial/stainless steel band is a close second and is actually the one that attracted me to the model in the first place.Blue face watch in question:And in black:Next up was ChronoShark with a drop dead gorgeous automatic Bulova Marine Star 98A106. Blue dial, blue bezel, open heart, two tone band. That one's going for $139, and I read through the Bulova/Accutron forum and it seems that people are pret
