The Stales' Modern Hamilton Challenge - Revisited
Long term inmates will recall my intention to acquire a modern Hamilton a year or two ago (see <<HERE>>). The selection criteria were that the watch must be handsome, have some complications but be simple of dial (I don't like clutter and my aging eyes can't see small dates or tachymiler type complications), robust, waterproof and preferably with a metal bracelet because leather is a waste of time in the African bush. Black & Grey NATO Bond Strap & Watch Combo
Hey guys! Being a huge Bond fan I've always loved this simple & classic strap. I would like it along w/ a watch to be able to beat around in, as Bond would have wanted it. I don't however want to spend the cash for a Rolex Sub on a watch I strictly want to beat up. Only requirements is that it's durable, water proof, relativly inexpensive(lets say no more than $1000), and most importantly looks good on this strap! I prefer auto, but quartz isn't completely out of the question. Love to hear your comments, or even better see watches you have w/ this strap! Thanks!
