Bedat 778.510.810 wrist watches news:
this could be just a rumor.i heard that Sellita SA maker of the SW200 [used by a lot of watchmakers like Oris, Breitling, Invicta and others] watch movement was backed up through 2009 and unable to meet orders due to a shortage of parts.while surfing the net i found that Sellita has been absorbed by Rolex, who bought up the company to be used exclusively in their Tudor line of watches. appears like Rolex wants to extend the Tudor market and make Tudor the direct competitor for Omega, Sellita is still in business but their movements will no longer be available to the masses, just like ETA.if this is true, what do you think will happen now, who will sell ebauches of movts to the watchmakers?
I've been playing with the new Canon G9, and trying to get a good shot of this dial. It's starting to come out pretty nice. Hey Shayne - I'm gunning for you, man! I want that Breitling masthead photo next time around. I just need to figure out how to balance the amount of light required to make the mother of pearl pop vs too much reflection.
Hi. I'm thinking that trade my AP RO SS diver to upgrade to Ceramic Diver. Have anyone seen the AP ceramic diver in a real life? How do you think of it? . Is it worth to trade in? Or should I keep the SS and add another ceramic to my collection :) Thanks
Hi guys, wanted to seek some clarification. First off, I'm sorry if this topic has been discussed before. My 116713 is dated 2015, and I bought it pre-owned from a direct owner. I counted 12 links on my 116713LN bracelet, as per pictures attached below. However, I've read on forums and my friends who own the GMT series as well 116710LN, BLNR, all seem to have 13 links on theirs. Any GMT owners out there reading this thread? How many links do you have in total? I did read on a forum that older GMT's come with 12 links, newer ones come with 13. However I can't find any proof to that just yet. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I looked up the oyster bracelet model number, 78203 and it shows to have 13 links. As of now, I seem to be missing one link. Would appreciate any help on this, thanks.
Just a pointless question that¡¯s been buzzing around in my head the last few days. Does anyone know how many parts make up a modern sub or gmt. I¡¯ve been having a bit of a argument with my son. I recon about 120 inc all jewels and screws. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
