Hi I've found a watch I would like to buy but would like someone with more knowledge than I have to advise if they consider the price to be fair. I recently retired and thought I'd treat myself to a nice watch. The watch I've found is a Audemars Piguet Square Oro Giallo Manuale art. Ap48, it's 18ct gold, manual winding, circa 1990, sold in "mint" condition, with original leather strap.The photographs don't show any damage at all but I will contact the seller to confirm this and other details before I decide.Many thanks

Lately there seems to be plenty of anti-Zenith WIS lurking on the internet. However, I don't believe I'm the only Zenith fan....so since it's quiet in here....and I have nothing better to do....please allow me to share my Zeniths.My first Zenith, a YG Chronomaster T...My Second was a factory orderred Zenith Chronomaster Baroque...Next the piece with the most wrist time, my XXT Quantieme Perpetual in WG...My next piece was the watch that I first seen that made me love Zenith, I had seen it years before and my wife told me to order one for my Birthday...Zenith came out with an Open model that won an award for "Men's watch of the Year"...it was nice...but it wasn't until I seen this piece with retrograde date that I had to have one...Then came the Zenith XXT Tourbillon in RG...

What can you tell me about my Seamaster?
I inherited it from my father 5 years ago. It was his daily beater. He probably bought it in the late 50s and, knowing him, it was pre-owned. The crystal is cracked. The stem winder is pulled out and lost. Is it worth repairing, from a strictly financial point of view? It is solid gold and has the original strap. If I shake it it will run for a bit, so it's not in a hopeless condition.
