B.R.M B.R.M 13180 wrist watches news:
(Admins: I mistakenly started this thread in General Discussion)Hello Everyone,About a dozen years ago, I aquired a Seamaster chronograph from a watchmaker friend. The case was pretty bad, but the hands, face and movement were excellent and my friend overhauled the 861 movement.I bought two complete NOS replacement cases direct from Omega for a ridiculously low price and replaced the original case holding the second in reserve.I've only been able to find three 145.029 Googling around and only one 20 micron gold plated like mine, but in pretty bad shape. How desirable is it?I'd like to know what other Omega enthusiast think of this model and get your opinions on my particular chronograph. Also, what's the best way to estimate its value? I did find a NOS case exactly like mine on an Australian website for AUS$650.Thank you
Found sealed and immediately fell in love with it.Is a real beauty!Enjoy.Fabio
Hi all!I have acquired an interesting reissue Boulton (the earlier Boulton), maybe from the 1980's? It's significantly larger than the original Boulton (I own a Boulton II). It's a curious mix because it has the vintage Hamilton "H" logo on the crown (the one from the late 50's into the 60's), but the caseback looks similar to the later Registered Edition, but it says "Limited Edition 1215". Also, it has a typical Swiss Hamilton band, but the buckle has the 60's period "HAMILTON" in italics on the back.I've attached some pictures if anyone can help. It has a Swiss manual movement, and while I don't have a pic yet it says "Hamilton Watch Co, Lancaster PA" and cal. 304, Swiss 17J.Thanks in advance!IMAGE_664.jpgIMAGE_666.jpgIMAGE_665.jpgIMAGE_668.jpgIMAGE_667.jpg
I just wanted to thank Mr. Albert Rondeau of Ouje-Bougoumou, Quebec, a member here, for his caring and generous bid to help the young lady Tiffany and her battle with cancer. To her I am sure the amount is more than she dreamed of and is worth more to her than any amount of watches we have in our collections. Enjoy your new Gennaker Mr. Rondeau! We all here at ST?L?S thank you for your bid and participation. May God bless you, and all those who took part, because of your generosity. We are glad to be a part of this forum and the members here showed their support. We thank each and every one of you!
