Hublot B1926.1 wrist watches news:
Watch enthusiast James Kirkland catches up with Kindler & Thorpe’s Paul Thorpe to ask about their exciting new arrival and soon to be released “Trafalgar Panerai”.Paul, can tell us something about your latest creation, the “Trafalgar Panerai”“This is a watch that has been in the planning process for a very long time. In fact, it will be the result of an idea that first came to me toward the end of 2010.“It spent weeks on the drawing board, being designed and then re-designed.“Without a doubt, this watch has spent more time on the drawing board than anything else that we have produced to date and I think we discarded more than a dozen pencilled proposals before settling on the final design. Why did this particular design take so long?“We wanted to create something very historical but at the same time, something that was very modern. A careful blend of two periods coming together.“ I think we have a watch that will appeal to
There is nothing like natural light to charge your Echo Drive. Just a couple hours in the sun will do more than a week under a lamp. Every couple months I give these a few hours in the sun. I have never had one stop or even give a low power indication. As my wife's echo sits in a watch box in the dark side of the bedroom sometimes for a month at at time the power reserve seems to be great. I love Echo Drive technology and the top one being a perpetual calendar other than making sure it gets some light now and then I don't have to touch it even in short months. Great for me, Mr Lazy Bones!
So since I had a day to kill I took 150 mile round trip drive to the nearest Omega dealer to actually see this piece on my wrist as others have said it definitely wears smaller than 44.25MM and I got to see the black on a bracelet and the Blue on leather. Both are quite stunning in the flesh I might have went for the blue on a bracelet but I have this tremendous bias towards black watches anyway after trying it on and seeing it in the flesh I pulled the trigger on a black/bracelet should have it by Friday! Traded my SMP I just like the Tudor HBB too much to let it go.
I just can't seem to find time to wear it..?
Hi guys, recently I had a chance to reflect on my collection and realized I don't have a bonafide dress watch. As fate would have it, I came across the Gondolo ref. 5111g-001 this past weekend and I'm now contemplating pulling the trigger. IMHO, it's a very handsome piece. What are your thoughts and thanks for your inputs and advice. Here's a stock pic.
