New to Patek, opinions and guidance welcome
Hey guys, I have looked on here for a while and have been amazed by the knowledge and amazing collections the members here have. Greatly appreciated by someone getting into the Patek world! I currently own a small and humble collection of Rolex, a 116250 and a 116610.I believe for my first piece by PP I would like to stay in the sports range, as I: A. Really like the range. B. Feel somewhat comfortable having only owned sport watches. C. Feel that since it is their smallest range, there is less room for error. Not that any of the pieces aren't absolute works of art. I just think with all the dress and complication pieces I would constantly be wishing I got one piece over the other.I feel like there isn't a mistake to make with the brand, every piece in the current collection is just gorgeous. Right now I feel that the 5711/1A or 5167/1A are the two frontrunners though. Being someone who is fairly new to the brand, is there any advice anyone would have to give? Whether it be on a partic

GUYS, I'M VERY CLOSE TO PULLING THE PLUG ON THIS CARLOS COSTE AND WANT YOUR THOUGHTS..I WAS GOING TO GO AFTER THE CHONOGRAPH ORIS BUT NOW I'M THINKING THE COSTE MODEL INSTEAD. BOTH ARE 47MM AND I HAVE A FEW CHRONOS ALREADY.THIS IS THE STYLE I WAS LOOKING AT BUT AS I ALREADY HAVE THE BREITLING AVENGER (SAME AS IN THE PHOTO) I THINK I MIGHT BE ADDING ...JUST ANOTHER CHRONO....IT COMES WITH BOTH RUBBER STRAP AND BRACELET IN ONE KIT. I've been looking to acquire a Germany-made watch for some time now. Perhaps the reputation German engineers (and clockmakers) have for superior craftsmanship, aesthetic conservatism, and attention to functionality and fine detail over extravagance has become somewhat stereotypical and clich¨¦d. One can argue, however, that this reputation has been well-earned over time more by it's basis in example-after-example, than in stereotype. Which brings me here.Where to begin? There are so many aesthetically pleasing German watch manufacturers. A. Lange & S?hne, Glash¨¹tte Original, and M¨¹hle-Glash¨¹tte Instruments are some of the more visible and historic brands. The first two are way above my pay-grade to afford, and I have been looking very hard at the M¨¹hle-Glash¨¹tte line- more than one of which is definitely on the short list of my future purchases. But, as I have found out, these are just a few of the German brand offerings out there, many of which are affordable to the "average" watch

Help with 1st PO purchase please!!!!
I currently own a IWC Portuguese Auto 5001-07 with the white dial and blue numbers and I am looking to buy more of a sport watch to add to my collection. I was debating between a Panerai and a Omega PO. I really like the look of the older style PO-2500 movement where the dial matches the bezel. I know the new style is ceramic and their in-house movement is excellent but I don't know if I love the matte finish on the bezel and it does not match the dial. I know that might seem crazy and maybe it will grow on me. So with that being said, i really like the idea of the titanium le however I am wondering if anyone knows if they will be coming out with a black version titanium next yr. I like the blue but I don't think I love it. Lastly, I am trying to decide between the 42 or 45mm and any advice would be much appreciated. I have over 7 1/2 inch wrists if that matters. I apologize for the long post but thanks in advance for any help on which model you would buy. I am also looking to rot
