Urban Legend?
Well I have heard it again and it sure is not the first time. Someone sends their Rolex to RSC for service and they confiscate it and won't return it because they say it is on a stolen list. Does anyone know anybody this has happened to? I know Rolex does not return the old parts they replace but this just stretches the imagination. What if you live in North Carolina and send it to Dallas. What gives them the right to keep it, and than what are they going to do? If this true, how are you supposed to check a watch bought privately?

I am a new member to this forum. I've picked up some great tips and advice from lurking on here over the past few weeks and I hope you all don't mind but I'd like to ask a few questions.I've wanted to own a PP for about 15 years now, but as with most luxuries in life, cost has been a factor to consider. I now find myself in a position to be able to spend a little on acquiring what I consider to be a nice timepiece, but being a novice in this area I'm a little unsure about what I am doing.This PP I am interested in is being offered for sale by an independent jeweller I use (not an AD). I mostly purchase items for my wife from them and I do trust their advice. It is a Pre-Owned Gondolo (3648J) mechanical movement, Sapphire Crystal case, screw down crown, roman numerals with an alligator strap. (I haven't work out how to upload a picture of it yet). Now before I get into an in-depth conversation with the retailer I'd like to know if;a) there is anything you guys can tell me about this typ

New To The Club (116610 & 116523)
It¡¯s been a big couple of weeks for me. Entered the club with the 116610 luckily in stock from my local AD.Turns out the Sub had either dust or a flake from the lettering loose inside the crystal; I noticed it within five days. Took it back to the AD a few days ago and they sent it back to Rolex for inspection and remedy. The AD felt pretty bad for missing the issue before selling to me so they offered a discount on something else. I took them up on it and picked up the Daytona to complement.Pretty content for now...or I should say I¡¯ll be content once I get my Sub back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

SubC or BLNR as a daily
Trying to decide between the SubC or BLNR as a dailyAbsolutely love the BLNR. And love the SubC. Both for completely different reasonsBLNR is beautiful, one of my favourite SS to exist. love the colours and overall appearance. But the centre links make it look a little too flashy for my daily style. And I¡¯ve always found the bezel a little busy (I do not own this watch)SubC is my only sub at this point. I have an explorer II for GMT hand. It¡¯s a little less loud / more tool watch and suits my style a little more than the BLNR. But it is a little more common and do like BLNR overall look just a tad more although it doesn¡¯t suit me as much.I¡¯d have to offload the SubC for the BLNR What do you all think?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
