Does anyone know what the story behind he relationship between IWC and Jaeger is? A lot of the horological literature I read references IWC and JLC as sister companies, but it never goes into detail as to the nature of the relationship. Does anyone know anything about this so called sisterhood? Or is it as plain and boring as both being owned by the notorious richemont group? Best regards-jdp87

I have been collecting for a few months now, all 'budget' watches, as that is what I can afford, about half mechanicals/automatics, and half quartz movements. I have been on the WUS forum for a few months now, but I may not be over there as much as I have been. Anyway, I hope to stick around for a while and learn from you all. Alden

Visited the Patek Boutique at Tiffany at New York. Since all the models I want are not available, I decided to give my Patek 5205R a complete make-over with some readily available accessories, aka a new matted black-strap with a RG Deployant buckle. What you think?
