TAG Heuer wv211a.ba0787 wrist watches news:
My SMP300 wound down over the weekend cause I didn't give it any wrist time so I wound it back up today. Question, shouldn't the second hand start moving only after a few winds and definitely by about 10?? I wound it quite a bit before the second hand starting moving. Also, what should you hear if you put your ear to the watch when winding? I know about the over-wind clicking protection that should start clicking when the spring is fully wound, but should there be a sort of "grinding"/rough sound prior to that? I'm not sure if what I was hearing was the actual over-wind clicking or something else that is normal. When I put my ear to the watch when setting the minute hand (crown pulled out to position 3) I do not hear anything (as I would expect). This is NOT what I hear when winding though, is this normal?
Need Suggestion for Automatic + Sapphire and less then $800Sporty looking, No roman numerals, 42mm max, Budget $800, What brands should I be looking at, I Noticed Seiko doesn't use sapphire. Thanks
Let's try not to make this political, please. Widely watched sporting, cultural, and political events are generally good watch spotting opportunities. Did anyone see anything good at the State of the Union address tonight?Pence had on a black leather-banded dress watch, but I couldn't make out the band. I saw some bracelet watches but my TV wasn't big and sharp enough to catch what they were.Did anyone spot any Rolex? I mean, I'm not expecting any Mrs. Roger Federer type bling, but I thought we might see something.
Anyone know if they are on this forum? If so, what is their username. They have a gmt I am interested in purchasing. Thanks.
Just picked up my first Rolex! Thanks to the people here who helped me make the decision. What do you think?
