Omega 425.68.34.20.51.002 wrist watches news:
I was browsing the auctions and came across what I think is a beautiful vintage Seamaster. I'm wondering if the Omega experts here can suggest a FMV on this watch. Of course I pay 15% Buyer's Premium + dreaded 13% sales tax on this. I'm going to do my homework now and see if I can get any price discovery on this watch through past sales. There should be 4 rows of 5 watches at this page. It's the bottom row, 2nd from left. Let me know if this link isn't working for some reason.toronto.empireauctions/au...keywords=watch
I just visited our local AD, C.J. Charles in La Jolla, picked up the new Patek magazine. they have 2 photos, one very large of the first ever WG Aquanaut (with date), 5168. The 5168 has rubber band and very nice blue dial, which reminds me how Rolex's blue dialed sub only comes in WG. Interesting. They did not have one in the shop (they had YG one with dark gray or black dial), but I will go back today and see the price and availability. Brandon, the main guy at the store, told me my friend Sensui still has not got his 5711 that he paid a deposit for months ago, and the waiting list for Nautilus is out of this world. For Panerai fans, Brandon said they are making a 38mm model for those with smaller wrists. Can't wait to check that out.I'll report back with any new details on the 5168. You guys should feel free to stop by the shop and pick up the free glossy Patek magazine. Also, and finally, there is a several page report on how Patek realizes the repair backlog and they are aggres
I just remembered that Angelina Jolie bought Brad a $3 Million platinum Patek, originally made for JB Champion, when they got married 2 years ago.Now that they have split, Angelina kind of strikes me as the type of lady that might throw her ex's stuff in a pile and burn it.Heres a link about the watch in case you forgot about it: .dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...ding-gift.html
I¡¯m midlands based and taking a trip to London tomorrow (Saturday). I¡¯m going alone so i can browse till my heart is content and I¡¯m really interested in looking at Tudors old and new and who knows I may pick up a Black Bay Red on a bracelet if I can get a deal ( is 10 or 15 % realistic?)Even if I don¡¯t end up buying I¡¯m intent on having a look at as many Ad¡¯s and used /vintage dealers as I can. Anyone have any suggestions as to which areas to concentrate on ?Thanks.
I have three and switch them often to avoid having to purchase a watch winder. Anyone else do this with success?
