Hey guys!There's a new sticky at the top of this forum on how to pronounce those pesky watch names.With well over a hundred active brands out there, the list is far from complete. I'll keep my eye out for new additions and you can do so as well.Any (brand)name is open to consideration. Some names, like Rolex, Harwood, Kobold, etc. are the same in all languages and don't need to go on the list. Some definitely need to be there. My Greatest Watch Bargains....
Apart from a single Casio G Shock ive owned for a few years, ive never felt compelled to buy another Casio even though they make some fantastic looking metal these days. That all changed 3 months ago when i saw one on the bay EF-524SP-1A for a smidge over 70 bux and after reading the specs decided i couldnt lose if i didnt like it.When i got it, i was pleasantly surprised, i knew i liked the look of it but i wasnt expecting the watch to have such a high quality solid steel bracelet with contrast brushed/polished finish and a very nice clasp, the real carbon fibre dial looked great and the watch has a real quality heft overall. Not bad.So, a few months on, im on the bay again when i see this beauty, the EF-503D-7AV. Again, i really liked the look and this one was even cheaper at 50 bux plus shipping so i pulled the trigger without thought given the previous one was so good for the money.
