The date dials do not operate. Apparently they are for decoration only. I selected this one because of the date option. If you want a watch that displays the day/date/month, I'd choose something else.

Omega watch from 1937 and fake one?!
Hi All,I hope that you know about these watches than me..I bought these pieces several years ago, but I don't have a lot of data, info about Omega wathces. If somebody have information about these pieces or similar one, please share with me.I am thinking to sell it but I don't have idea what should be a good price for these ones. Ok guys I have a real hankering for one of these babies! I have wanted one for a while now and think it is time to pull the trigger... are there any owners out there that could give me some insight as far as wearabilty for a watch this size? Comfort level? The bracelet looks very sleek and well put together from my experience wearing one at an AD.Please bring on those pictures!!!

Accident or something normal?
I just read this article about Philippe Dufour, I knew his work is impeccable here is not the problem, the problem is that for comparison they have put pics of movements from high end brands, and the one from Patek is just shameful finishing wise, I understand that not all Patek movements are finished to perfection and that some easily rival Dufour's finishing when it comes down to 500K plus models, but even for the lesser expensive Pateks is it possible that some can be sold like this??? Do you think this is a bad finished movement that passed through QC or is this normal finishing for let's say movements of their least expensive pieces? In any case that's why I never wanted to look at any movements I have owned with a loupe as I would be quite disappointed if I had such a finished movement.
