Ulysse Nardin 266.33.8/90 wrist watches news:
Anyone seen this one in stores yet?Looks to be a new variant of the new Aqua Terra released at Basel '08 / '09, adding an annual calendar instead of the standard date calendar. I gotta say, I like it! No price info on the steel, two-toned or gold on a strap but there is also a limited edition of white gold on a white gold bracelet (see below). From pictures seems very nice, and at 43mm's I'd love the size. While I don't know the price of all of them, the LE 18k white gold is (gulp!) $32,000.
(images: Patek Philippe S.A)I should have the official Press Kit in my hands hopefully pretty soon.More detailed information about each model coming up.
Hi I'm new in this forum and I have several questions about Patek Philippe. I have several Rolex watches, but now I'm planning to buy Patek Phillipe, thinking about leveling up since Rolex getting more and more common I'm planning to buy three Patek watches (I need two for different purposes and 1 for woman) before august (the new pricelist will be in effect in August in my country), the 5146/1J and 5159R and 4958/1J. So are those watches good? or are there any better models (in terms of quality, mechanism, look, resale value, etc)?5159R > patek/html/en/ref_5159.html5146/1J > patek/html/en/ref_514....html?flash=no4958/1J > patek/html/en/ref_495....html?flash=noThe seller offered me US$ 85,000 for the 5159R and US$ 57,600 for the 5146J. Is it cheap or expensive? And usually how many percent discount offered for new Patek Philippe watch? I never have experience buying Patek before. Thanks
It's kind of like a Ford guy buying a Chevy for the first time...My very first Omega came via UPS today It is a Seamaster Planet Ocean XL.Orange Bezel & Orange 12/6/9.Black Omega Rubber Strap w/ Deployment Clasp w/ Orange Stitching. And man did I have a surprise: I thought I was buying the watch pre-loved... but when this baby showed up, it was sealed! All stickers were still in place including the seal over the crystal... the red dot is also still in place on the caseback...In addition, the warrany card has 2011 embossed in it, but the date is open, any suggestions if I should fill in the date or not???No wrist shot yet, because I don't want to take off the plastics... haha Anway, I will wear it for a bit, and then probably sell it to fund another Rolex... but I must say, I am loving it!!! The size is so cool, just right for a guy like me (6'3)....
Hello all! I have noticed a speck of dust on the inside of the glass on my GV Millgauss. While at first I did not mind it, it has slowly been eating at me and it's getting to the point where I need to figure out if it needs service, or any watch maker can fix this problem for me. I just don't want to part with it for weeks if I can help it. It's not under any factory warranty, but I recently had the glass changed out because the original had many scratches and needed to be replaced. Here's a pic, it's the speck under the middle of the minute hand. Thanks in advance! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
