Hi everyone,I have recently been trying to identify my late fathers watch.I contacted Longines to ask for some help and this was their reply..After having checked in our archives, hereunder I give the information I could find on your watch :The serial Nr. 22112270 identifies a two-tone wristwatch which model reference was 161.6863.4.211. It was part of the ¡°Flagship¡± collection and was sold to Baume & Co, at that time our distributor for U.K., in 1987. It is equipped with a quartz movement L.161 (hour, minute and date).Its retail price was of CHF. 990.-.Iv noticed all the longines watches seem to be identified like this L4.716.4.72.6Why have they not given me a number like this? Speedmaster pro question
Been seeing a lot of photos of these recently online and I'm not really a fan of chronograph watches, this is probably the only one I would consider buying. Think is I have a Rolex GMTc and getting a AP diver at end of this month so thinking a chronograph would complete my collection.I've seen these are around ¡ê3300 new with discount available just wanted to ask what they sell for pre owned ? Do they hold there value

PAM buckle or clasp?
Hi PAM people!I have a PAM 328 now mounted on a OEM brown aligator strap. I dont mind changing strap, but sometimes to change de buckle can be a pain.I am thinking to buy a new buckle, or a couple. Now the questions, for the OEM straps, can I put a deployant clasp on it? I know some others are thicker. If so, do you recommend it to avoid punishing the strap less? And if so, which one to get? The PAM one is quie expensive, any good ones?If you recommend the buckle, where can I get it? Best,Guillermo
