I was speaking with my father re: my acquisitions of Hamiltons and he let me know he had a Lady's Hamilton that had been in the family since the 50s. He didn't know anything about it. New Meistertaucher
Well, I recently purchased my first Oris. I had wanted a regulateur but also wanted the date on it. That combo seems to be few and far between, but the Oris fit the bill and the price is right. Not to mention it is titanium and rugged. I think it came on Thursday. I fitted the rubber strap, then tried the bracelet and had it fitted Friday. I like the bracelet better as it matches the watch nicely and fits my wrist perfectly.It is running 20 seconds fast per day so far Maybe it will settle down after a few daysHere are 2 photos. One in the light, the other in a room with only a little sunlight to show some of the lume (which is excellent).

After being Panerai opponents throughout my watchcollectinglifefor the simple reason that the crown guard went away if you want to have the watch on your wrist becomes nothing good I think with this grotesque bodywork. Then they make a sandwich dial that is completely outstanding made me get up the eyes of Destro (left-hinged) model, which is a good compromise.The model 219 since missing a second hand made me the confident because I think Panerai withsub second be completely wrong proportions because it is so small relative to the rest of the watch, I think.Furthermore, I would like to have it brushed instead of mirror finish which is likely to be what it is suffering. The wife was with and inspected during unpacking and thought it seemed to be a crap watch when they sent a screwdriver. You should have it when it breaks down?Glassback and a decorated movement looks nice on a watch that can handle 300 meters.Naturally, it is alright readable in dark.

It¡¯s the year of the Rolex Master GMT ii, But...
Are the 24hr number markers on the bezel are too big that it seems to look so busy and cluttered? I understand that they’ve changed also the Dial from Maxi Dial from it’s previous predecessors that’s why they’ve increased the size of the numbers on the bezel. I used to own a GMT Black LN, function wise it’s a perfect daily and travel watch but i’ve got tired of it, i’ve sold it and never looked back. Has anyone here thinks that the Tudor BB GMT Pepsi has a better proportions and blending compare to the New Rolex Pepsi? I guess i’m leaning more with the Tudor BB GMT. we’ll see it in a couple of months.
