Jaeger LeCoultre Q1742420 wrist watches news:
Unique Swiss watch maker MCT is sort of back on the scene after being quiet for a few years. The brand's famous Sequential One timepiece was developed by movement designer Denis Giguet, who later left the brand. When I last spoke to him he told me that he would be working full time at Van Cleef & Arpels of all places. MCT was recently scooped up by a new guy I believe and has been trying to get it back on track. The first step is to revitalize the Sequential One with some design variations. Here are the two new MCT Sequential One S110 watches. Each has the same wonderfully original manually wound movement that has a revolving retrograde minute hand and hour markers on triangular shutters. We first wrote about MCT here back in 2009 and there is a video there showing how the watch works - it is super cool. The minute counter moves sequentially in a clockwise manner as the hours change. There are four points on the dial that each can display three of the 12 hours of the day.Designer Fa
I have 2 watches I would like to replace the bands on:1st - Citizen Eco Drive - AT0660-05EThis watch is my current favorite. I am embarrassed to admit I am having issues with the leather part of the strap giving off a strange odor.My preference would be a nylon strap possibly with orange stitching.2nd - Tissot T-Touch with rubber strap. It's a yellow face, so possibly something with yellow stitching or accents. All suggestions welcome. Buying from a sight vendor would be great!
Hamilton Khaki auto worn by Dr. Bob Kelso in NBC's Scrubs. I knew I liked this show for a reason.
Looking next for a 3 dial chronograph to round out my collection.Lots of Speedmaster info on TRF and is seems like a very good choice. I have tried it on and like the fit and feel.I do like the look of the old style SMP though (I have the 2254.50 and love it).Any advice on the better choice (with reasons) would be appreciated. Also, if you have an alternative chronograph to suggest (it doesn't have to be an Omega) then please do. Pictures would help if possible. I already know about the Daytona (and like it) but it is more than I want to pay right now so I am looking at the under $5K watches. Many thanks.
