Breitling A 13350 wrist watches news:
I just got the April WatchTime, and found an interesting article. It's about a guy that has a vintage Radiomir, one of the original Italian navy watches, circa late 30s. It was his uncle's watch, given to him by his colleagues in Italy during the warI won't give it away, but it's a fantastic read if you're into the history of Panerai, or even if you just like a good story.Check it out. They probably have something on the web also, most magazines do anymore (I guess I'm more into the physical magazines).
I am so find of this watch. It was a gift several years ago and I always thought it was a Longines until a friend questioned me recently because it doesn't have Longines on the back. I think it's name is Charleston. Thanks so muchCamillleimage.jpgimage.jpg
Hey everyone. I posted this in the hamilton forum as well but figured I'd get more viewers here. I stumbled across the "Hamilton Khaki Scuba King H64515337" online and was smitten.. It's got the ETA 2834, sapphire crystal. screw down crown.. alot of features for the $. I love the rubber strap w/ red stitching. Resembles a Serket I've always liked but couldnt afford. I've seen them online for about $500, but a few forum members mentioned that they got them for "a little over $300" in the archives. Does anyone have any leads on such a deal? If so could you post a reply or PM me. Any help would be greatly appreciated . Thank you ,Kurt PS . Does anyone own own one or have any info on them?
About a year or more ago, I was mooching around the various new and second hand dealers in the Bond Street area and ¨C for the first time ¨C I tried on a Patek Nautilus 5711¡ a watch that I¡¯d admired from afar but never actually handled or worn myself. There was no doubt that the finish was exquisite, but for some reason I couldn¡¯t quite to get to grips with the case shape (or, rather, the hinged non-crown side). It did teach me one thing, if nothing else, though; sometimes, the only way you can appreciate the wonderful craftsmanship that goes into many of the higher-end watches is to actually pick them up, wear them and scrutinise them properly. I¡¯m not saying that you¡¯ll then be able to see where the ¡°value¡± is because we all know that luxury products don¡¯t work that way, but what I am saying is that photos alone will never do them justice. I mulled and mulled over the Nautilus, but deep down I knew it wasn¡¯t calling to me like it needed to. Around the time that I realised I wouldn¡¯t b
Hello everyone,I've been waiting for the 5711 blue dial, but with the recent news of the price increase, I'm starting to consider other options (should've gotten the white dial when it was offered to me a couple months back ).I'm considering the 5167r model instead, and was wondering what the typical discount would be on this piece nowadays. Also, when compared to the submariner gold blue dial, which of the two do you guys prefer? Thanks and hope everyone has a great day.
