- I own many watches including three Huarex's and the Raptor is one of a kind. All my watches by Huarex are very well made. This particular style will be noticed on your wrist. Be aware though that it's a HUGE watch (49MM).

It's that time of the year again. The jury of the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Geneve – the world's most important horological awards – has been announced. Not only do we retain the illustrious Mr. Clymer, Goldberger, Dufour, Bacs, and more, but we also pick up a few new additions. The most notable of the new jury members is actually a HODINKEE alum – KISS drummer Eric Singer. I recently obtained this 1953 Lord Elgin with a size 15/0 #670 21J movement in a 14K gold filled Wadworth case. Very interesting two tone dial and case design.

FC Diver case size vs. FC Bee
Are they the same? I tried a Bee on a while back and it really seemed small on the wrist. Wondering if the FC Diver wears the same.

5196g and 5146g or 3940g?
I already own a 5146g and was considering trading for the 5396g but after tryingit on this week Ive decided the 5146 is more me, I prefer dials to windows. However while I was trying on the 5396 I also tried the 5140 and 5196 (which I have had previously). The 5140 is a fantastic watch but it is cluttered and the 5/27 was off putting, I'm yet to try the 3940 but the dial looks cleaner and it is only 1mm smaller.So my option now is to keep the 5146 and add the 5196, which I think is a good combo or trade in the 5146 for a 3940. What do you guys think?
