Hublot 311.SX.1170.GR wrist watches news:
I've been a fan of the Hamilton Jazzmaster line for some time now, and have appreciated some of the open-heart dials they've created in the past. Their latest (the Viewmatic Skeleton), though, is truly a skeleton watch, not just a dial with some cut out pieces of metal. That's because the Jazzmaster Viewmatic Skeleton watches (yes, this is a his-n-her's release) were designed with the intent of showing off their new H-20-S automatic movement. There's very little in the way of you seeing the actual moving parts at work, and the movement itself has cutouts and finishing (laser-engraved) that lets you know the movement was meant to be seen.Of the two models, I think the women's one may be the more legible of the two - though I'd be concerned about losing the polished hands against the white dial. Thankfully, Hamilton avoided the "easy way out" with this dial, and didn't include any heart-shaped cut outs or extraneous sparkles (gems or otherwise) on the dial. Just several overlapping circle
Hello WTF. I just joined today. I'll be buying my first Omega in few weeks. I've decided on the Seamaster 2254.50. I love the look and feel of this piece.I've read in many posts that buying online is risky. I'm looking for the contact info for a good AD that will give me a good price.I did check the price at a few online sellers, about 1775.00. Is this a good price I can expect from other ADs? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and knowledge. Cricket1811
This is in response to the thread for the serious collector (re:Location, Location, Location) without derailing that thread from it's purpose. To begin, I am quite often amazed at the attention to detail and intricate knowledge some of our members have in this hobby. I am equally impressed with the lengths to which some members will go to finish a particular watch correctly or fill a gap in their collection. These serious collectors are the repository of knowledge and the arbiters of what is correct or not correct for a particular watch or brand. However, I suggest that the casual collector is the most common type of collector. This is the person that buys what they like, whether it is correct or not, and wears their collection for the simple pleasure it brings. As an example, and speaking only for myself, I'll describe how I see my role in the hobby.I'm not running a museum. I just want a nice watch to wear that is aesthetically pleasing (to me) and keeps time...accuracy is a nic
Does anyone have a Momentum Logi Ti? I was informed about Momentum watches by a coworker. They seem like well constructed watches, they have sapphire crystals, and a 10 yr battery life. I have not seen much in the way of reviews anywhere.
Patek really knows how to make beautiful dials. Always dynamic and mesmerizing.
