Next in the collectionFrom the TOP 10Most "Collectible" Illinois Wrist Watches.#3 The 1929 "Chieftain"***GangThis is a thread that I have been wanting to Update for a LONG time!***As I have mentioned before, sometimes you buy a watch and wait years for the proper dial in MINTConditionI finally found one with Stan.I also found perhaps, the best example of a Yellow Gold Filled Chieftain on the planet.FRONT OLD DIAL:NEW DIAL:YELLOW GOLD FILLED:2 SHOT:The first thing you notice is the beautiful beefy "Indian" themed case...The shape of this unmistakable design unfortunately made this watch very suseptable to "case wear," and to find an example without "brassing" is rare. The 1929-1930 Illinois Watch Company Catalogue described the watch:"This unusually designed case of 14k filled white or natural (yellow) gold is fitted with a fine 15 jeweled movement with full figure luminous dial. Consumer price $40.(FF)SIDES:Case: Special Model #163width 28mmwidth with crown 29mmwidth lug to lug 16mmleng

Hi All -A Rolex guy trying to increase my Speedmaster knowledge! I am happily hunting for a Speedmaster. It will replace my recently sold and loved 16710 and be worn Mon thru Thu at the office. My 14060 Sub owns my wrist from Thur thru Sun. I am liking the idea of those 2 icons as the platform for my rotation. A Zenith Class Elite earns church and suit duty. I prefer to buy here or on TZ - but not much available now. I hear jmryshi is a trusted seller on the bay and below are 2 listings I am targeting at the approx $1800 range.Questions:Anything look wrong with the below listings?what is the difference between the 3570 and 3590?I have the flip sickness - which Speedmaster (of any) will be the easiest to resell?Should I consider the Broadarrow?A million thannks!!! 3570.50cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT3590.50cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT
I am quite new to this forum and would like to seek some opinion on the 5146G slate dial. I am currently the owner of spectacular 5167 which is absolutely stunning. Recently, i got an offer with 5146G slate dial. Year 2010 about 30,xxx USD But i can only afford to have only one. Should i or shoud i not trade? All opinions are very much appreciated.
