Hi all,New to thhis forum, but have been lurking for sometime.I've got a 2004 SMP 300 (2264.50.00) I hadnt worn it since the clocks went forward over here until the other night, tried changing the time, had some trouble releasing the stem - too much force was used and the crown went flying. after scouting around the kitchen for about an hour, located the crown from under the washing machine, tried to reattach it, no traction, its just a loose knob now. ( looks fin, but serves no purpose). Is there anything I can try to rettach it, or will ihave to bite the bullet and take it to a dealer and have the stalk/stem/crown replaced?Any ideas, views appreciated.Cheers,James

Hi all!I recently purchased a Seiko Premier watch from an online store. This is the first time I bought a watch online and I'm wondering, did I get swindled here?I paid apprx. 400 dollars for the watch, and with that money I assume to get a brand new product of course. Take a look at the pictures below. Is this the condition of a brand new watch? Honestly, I am not sure, because I don't know if this is typical or not?As you can see, the watch is covered in some sort of dust/dirt, which is not from the package itself since it didn't smear my fingers when touched. The plastic wrapping/tapes protecting the watch seem to have been removed and then put back on. The white piece of paper on the band is crumpled and dirty as well.Should I send the watch back or accept it as it is? Is this normal or am I being too demanding here?watch1.jpgwatch2.jpgwatch3.jpgwatch4.jpg
Hi, I'm still not sure which AP I want. The 15710 diver or the 42mm chrono (black and grey). I'd like to put a bracelet on it and change straps. I've gotten rid of my 311 so I no longer have the Panerai to weight or measure. I realize it was titanium but I've also had ss Panerai's. I know the Panerai was 44mm vs 42mm but what about height. The AP's I've mentioned are basically 14mm tall. Does anyone know what the Panerai's 1950 cases are with with contemporary done or historic dome? Any comparison pics would be a huge bonus. Thanks!!Everett
