Girard Perregaux 49931 wrist watches news:
Welcome back to an original watches-dealer feature, "My First Grail Watch." In this series, we ask prominent people in the watch industry about the first timepiece that they lusted after. Today, we're speaking with?Sean Wai, the architect at the helm of moVas,?who?really does not like watches - at least, not in the way you would expect.watches-dealer (ABTW): Who are you, and what is your relationship to the watch industry?Sean Wai: I am a trained architect, born in Malaysia, studied in Sydney Australia, lived in Helsinki, Finland, and NY, USA. I now reside in Singapore. I started a watch brand about 6 years ago called moVas watches, and I now design, assemble, and test all our watches in-house in the hope of one day creating my own in-house movement.ABTW: When did your fascination with watches start?Sean Wai:?This is an interesting one, as I still tell people that I actually personally don't really like watches. Not the way most collectors like watches. However, my fascination has grow
Testing different straps for when the red rubber comes off the Trulli. Just got this RB2 strap from Takuya and testing it out. AP's calf straps are very soft - much more comfortable than the horned back....Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk
Well, this one has been a couple of months coming, and has taken a fair bit of planning. Anyway, it started when I realised I was going down my usual route with regard to the Daytona¡ I love them when I get them, I cool towards them after a few months of ownership and then I find I don¡¯t reach for them any more. It¡¯s happened with three of the four that I¡¯ve owned, the only exception being the white gold Zenith that I stupidly sold a couple of years ago (and that¡¯s another story, albeit not a particularly interesting one for anybody but me).So, I decided that I¡¯d have to move the latest one on, and then started to think about what white-dialled chrono I could replace it with. I didn¡¯t want anything too dressy, as my collection has veered markedly in that direction over the last year or so. I toyed with various options such as Girard-Perregaux, but couldn¡¯t really make up my mind about them; then I started looking at the Royal Oaks in their various incarnations. The current 26320ST is a
Hi all Just curious on your opinion guys. What is the all around best Nautilus? Here are some options. No, the 5711 is not an option. Complication wise and metal, price whats your pick?
Seems the only way I can get my Daytona (or could get my 116520) to fit perfectly is to use the easy link extended and the micro adjustment all the way out - when I close the easy link and add one link and adjust the micro adjustment all the way in it wears just a little too loose. It appears there is something in between when the easy link is out. Has anyone else experienced this? I've got it fitting fine and never had an issue with my 116520 easy link wearing out or stretching but would prefer a solution that doesn't involve the easy link engaged 99% of the time.
