Panerai PAM00048 wrist watches news:
Pan America Philadelphia U.S.A.Does someone know this brand or manufacturer? I am just curious because someone mentioned those auctions in another watch board and so far no one knows something about it.cgi.ebay/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=300370135429cgi.ebay.my/ws/eBayISAPI....m=120511518745
Was someone here the winning bidder on a recently closed auction for an abovementioned model on the swamp? I was a bit surprised that it brought so much, over $300 to be exact. I was outbid very early on.It appeared to be in relatively nice shape(clean lume dial, nice hands, running-not serviced) but, still with some wear through on the corners. I got mine, also with wear through on the corners a year or so back and was fortunate to get it for much less along with my Langdon which was 'swish'. I have since had mine rebuilt and serviced and wear it frequently. I am always looking for a better case example but, at that price, I might be looking for a while. But, it is possible I am missing something that made this worth more, anyone have any thoughts or insights?
Samual Adams commercial, guy is talking about the amount of hopsin the Sam Adams brew. His watch looks like brushed stainless case/leather strap What is that watch?
Just came back from Chicago and checked out some Tags at Water Tower Place yesterday. One store had a whole case full of various new Aquaracers and F1s, plus another 2 cases of the Carreras and the other lines. Tried on quite a few different ones and had a great time checking out the new models.Considering the state of the economy it was interesting that all the sales lady can tell me was "we had a 10% off sale last week, maybe I can convince my manager to extend the pricing for you". I immediately had a wide grin on my face (actually I almost broke out laughing). The sales lady probably thought she made my day, never realized that I almost told her "You've got to be kidding". I know that times cannot be worse than here in the Detroit area but, I did not realize they were doing that great in Chicago.
I love Rolexes. I love guns, but man this doesn't pair right. Engraving a DJII? For what? Poor thing, not worth a damn now, I mean I get it: personalization. Go engrave a 1911, that's cool, but come on Beretta!!! And some people actually want to order this!!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
