Panerai PAM113 wrist watches news:
I would like to buy an original black dial for my 16520 which currently has a white dial. Does anyone have any suggestions?ThanksJB
My wife doesn't have much interest in getting any watches other than the ones she has. She has a Tag, a Tissot and a titanium Seiko, but none REALLY seems appropriate when we go somewhere formal, which isn't that often. In fact, I'd call them all sports watches, although I guess the Tissot can pass as a dress watch. So, I've been thinking of finding an inexpensive vintage manual wind watch for her for such occasions, and surprising her with it. I know if I told her I was getting one, she'd try to talk me out of it. I'm hoping that if I do find the right one, she'll change her mind when she sees it - but that's why I want to stay inexpensive, in case it never gets worn. The up side is that it seems much easier to find inexpensive women's vintage watches than men's.I guess I'm just trying to get opinions from a bunch of people who have never met my wife, and really know nothing about her, which is kind of silly, but what the heck. So, any suggestions?I just realized what's bound to be
Recently I went to Sydney.Omega have their own boutique.I was impressed with this Speedmaster and the beautiful well cased accessories that accompany the watch: I'm not sure what every tool does but it was a pretty nice kit.
Got myself onto my first Rolex list a few months ago for a watch I'd been studying for months. The white sky-dweller. I wanted THAT watch. Gave them a 50% downpayment and waited. This did not scratch my want-a-watch itch. So I kept looking. Bought myself a Bluesy, at a nice discount. If I had stopped here, I would have been okay. It was a good price a quite liked it. But I kept looking. Decided I really liked a Patek 5396r-012, with the beautiful breguet numbers. Tried it on, liked it (thought I liked it), so I went to work on acquiring it. Found one at a what was a significant discount. Traded out of the bluesy, and added a big chunk of money, and got myself the Patek. Week or so later, don't love the Patek anymore. Still want the damn sky-dweller.Thought I could just get my money out of the Patek like I did the Bluesy. Nope. Doesn't work that way. A 20% loss in ONE MONTH. So I keep it, thinking. Thinking. Finally, three months later (as in, this week), I give up waiting and pull the
I just got this one in my mail.
