IWC 325 wrist watches news:
I've really liked the ProTrek / Pathfinder series of watches for a long time. I have the SPF-60 SeaPathfinder, then out of the blue one of what I think is among the best Pathfinders out there came up for auction here recently and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to own it. What makes it unusual is that it's a model either never released here, or if it was available it would have been very difficult to sell here, mainly because we don't get the radio signals for the time adjustment.Anyway, I managed to pick it up for about $161NZD ($120USD), or about 20% of it's retail price here .It has the titanium bracelet which was another reason I was keen on getting it, as I've never had any Ti bracelets/watches. Sadly, the bracelet has been sized for a lady or small child by the looks of it, so I am trying to source about 3 links for it. If that proves too hard, I'll probably have to get the resin strap instead. Bit of a shame as the Ti bracelet looks pretty good.Being a bit of a gadget freak,
Sinn, Stowa, Limes, Nomas, Muhle Glashutte, Glashutte Original, A. Lange & Sohnes are some of the more popular (aka well known) brands. Do you have a German watch that isn't so well known?
Hi All, New hear in terms of posts but been reading for some time. Great forum to pass some time learning about other peoples passions and desiresI need some help and assistance. Recently purchased a very nice AP Panda on a steel bracelet. I would like the option of a Rubber / leather daily beater strap. Thought I would just take my time see what comes up on flea bay and assemble a complete strap over time.. So starts the Quiz.Pictures are of links purchased for Royal Oak Offshore. The steel bracelet is Genuine AP. What do you feel the links are for because they do not fit well? They will fit in the cut out in the watch case and width is spot on but end angles are not the same (last pic) and they have no movement when installed. They can be fitted but don't look or feel right compared to the OE.The angle of the link top to bottom appears to be too steep. Not advertised as genuine so could even be from a replica piece of s*ite, as the finish o the sides of the links is poor quality!Any
I was trying on this again today, might just be the watch of the summerLet's see your best AP Diver photos!
Just picked up a used PO, was on the lookout for a nd sub but the PO opportunity came up for a decent price and it's always a watch I've admired trying it on a number of times at ADs. Whilst the bracelet was in good condition I thought I'd swap it out to the oem rubber diving strap. Whilst I've only had it less than a week, I'm really enjoying it, actually even more than I thought I would...
