Tissot T095.417.36.037.02 wrist watches news:
Hey Y'allWe've had a few examples of lovely watches from previous eras of late. LarryK shared his Connie with us and Mr Corny, his Seamaster Deville. Gee Jaay as we know is an avid collector of vintage pieces. Sam has, well Sam has more Omegas than some dealers I'd imagine. That was a compliment my friend. Your pictures and writings are a great attraction here in OMEGALand I was wondering if there are more vintage enthusiasts here than I once thought. Hence my question among other questions of the day is - what is you favourite Omega era and do you like watches from yesteryear?I'd have to say I'll stick to the present. When I have been wearing Omega since the early 80s, I wasn't a WIS then and as many of you will know, that watch was taken from me somewhat forcefully by a trio of undesirable admirers ( they were admiring my watch, not me I hope !!! ). I really only started to cultivate an interest in horology in the past 4 years or so hence the era of Omega that I know is the present.
I was in a Jewelers on Saturday and they had Quartz Seiko w/ sweeping second hand Wall clock. I thought, wonder when the watches are coming?
Hi GuysSo i went on the bay to buy some rubber straps for my chronospace. The guy had a few straps for sale but what made me pull the trigger and thinking it's authentic is that he also had a breitling jacket for sale so kinda made me think he was an enthusiast. When they finally arrived from the netherlands i checked out one of his feedbacks saying that it was a fake...so not too sure what to think. Hoping you guys could shed some light..Thanks!
After buying new.. anyone know the percentage of devaluation that has Panerai and Rolex? Of course the watches have been maintained and that they are flawless.
I have a A serial 16710 which I've owned since 1999... It's always run perfectly. I sent it in to Rolex for a factory service in 2013, they also did a light polish on it. How does factory polishing effect the future value of these watches? Should I refrain from having it factory serviced again if they always polish them?
