JS Watch Frisland 1941 Aviator
Icelandic watchmaker JS Watch has just announced a beautiful new aviator called the Frisland 1941. Part of the Frisland collection, the 1941 is a classic looking Pilot watch with a little bit of JS Watch flair to it. The watch has a retro World War II look to it in honor of the Reykjavik airport that opened in 1941 during World War II. It was built by the British in Iceland and in 1946 was handed over to Iceland's sovereign government to run on their own. Apparently the area did serve as an airstrip before the formal airport was built, but that is enough history to justify the production of this watch collection.As a pilot watch, the Frisland 1941 is very humble in stature being 42mm wide. We know that pilot watch sizes can get very large, but that is inline with the heritage of the genre. Pilot watches that are too small just don't look right in our opinion. I have been scouring the internet for a shot of the SKX173 shown on someone's wrist to see how big/small this actually is. Can someone provide help in this department? I have been unable to find one in stores, and would like to get an idea of the size prior to purchase. Any photos are appreciated. Also, love hearing stories of the 150m divers that have been around for 30 years. Am I fooling myself to believe that in 2008, manufacturing can take these 30-40 years?

I have a MY 2000+ Sea master Chrono, with no serial number at the 7 o'clock position on rear of lug. It was purchased new on the internet, and I am positive its legit.The papers and box were not retained, so I can't use them to validate authenticity, to have serviced or even out up for sale.Any and all help would be greatly appreciated for this perfect condition stainless Sea master.
