Ulysse Nardin 8103-101-3/03 wrist watches news:
I am interested in purchasing a khaki field chrono auto. I was wondering how durable this watch would be, and if it would be strong enough to be worn at work on the construction site. My current watch takes alot of abuse. I'm also wondering which type of strap would be a better choice, I'm undecided they both have pros & cons. Any input would be appreciated
I have not seen anyone post any of their vintage dream watches in a thread so I decided to start one. If you would like the website were I got these pics, Don't hesitate to pm me. Here's my top 5 since I can only post 5 pic's lol.
Bought new in 1980, still going strong, still cool.....
Okay guys, I have finally saved enough coin to start looking for my next watch. I have always wanted a Speedmaster Pro. That said I know very little so lets assume I know nothing. In theory I have no problem with vintage as long as it's in good shape. I am still in my 20's and am far from wealthy but I put back money in retirement each month and my bills are paid so I figure I can treat myself just a bit from time to time. I really like the look of the white dial broad arrow GMT speedmaster and the look of the silver/gray sunburst dial models. So without further ado, please school me on the do's, dont's, pro's and con's of the Speedmaster, it's various movements and models over the years and what I should expect to get and find in the $2k ish USD range. Thanks in advance!!!!!John
I decided to give my Speedy 145.022 Cal.861 some wrist time, I almost forgot how cool this watch is. It`s serial # is in the low 40mil. puts the age around 1977.It`s got some good patina on the dial hour markers.image upload no compression
