New Shoes for the Longines
I wanted new shoes for both of my Longines: the diver because the OEM strap is uninspiring, and the moonphase because I got it on steel, but I prefer leather for it. I attempted to get an OEM leather strap from Longines for the moonphase, but even with my AD giving it to me at his cost, it was several hundred dollars. I figured I'd get better value with an aftermarket purchase.I have to mention how much I dislike working in new straps. I wear them too tightly for a few days and leave them on a pillow overnight, but it's still a PITA. I wonder if it would be practical to put a metal strip inside the leather to hold the shape you bend it to.In any case, here are the new straps for your amusement:Master Collection MoonphaseI wanted a dark blue gator for this watch. Any offshore for the guys with smaller wrists?
Good day everybody.On the hunt, and I am looking for a ROO that would be suitable for small wrists.It is very unfortunate that I haven't been able to find a Royal Oak that fits my wrists well.At 6.25' wish wrists, the 15202 lugs just won't sit on my wrists unfortunately. I would have loved to add that to my collection. A stunning watch with an amazing history.The 15450 dial is just too small for my taste. The 15202 dial size is a very nice fit, as my 40MM Rolex fit very well, but just the stiff lugs that make it difficult. Ofcourse some people don't mind this, but I really dislike the way it looks on me personally.On the hunt for an Offshore now, are there any that work well on small wrists?Surely we have guys on here with small wrists that own some, and don't look like they are wearing clocks on their wrists.
