Hi all, Have been searching around sporatically trying to identify this watch, or find a similar one for quite a while now but with no luck. Was "in the mood" once again to do another quick search, and happened to land here, so I decided to look around a bit. Everyone seemed to be especially polite and all the posts I read were from those who truly wished to provide helpful information. What a breath of fresh air! So, this watch was given to me by my father about 10 or 15 yrs ago, and I believe he received it from his father as well. He has always been an avid watch collector, and asked me to choose the one I favored most, among which included many Rolex's, etc. My favorite had always been this Longines, and it is not only beautiful but the most comfortable watch I have ever worn. It is all 18K, and the total weight is 75.3g, but I haven't been able able to find another like it. Service cost advice needed
I sent in my 2 year old aquanaut for service because the brushed bezel was polished and damaged by a reseller and I wanted it perfect.I am in Canada and was quoted 2400 Canadian (about $1800US) for a full service.Seems very high no? The bezel is fixable and not being replaced.Thought? It's at patek in Switzerland. Should I cancel or bite the bullet?When back I plan to sell it sealed from factory. I have some other pieces in mind. ThanksMitch
