Seiko SNAF30 wrist watches news:
Hope you enjoy the photos. I like black band better than black. Have more black shoes, belts than brown lol!
A couple of months ago, my EL WTF started to give me issues when I was setting up the time. The hour hand would have a hard time to turn. Finally, it stopped working and I couldn't set up the time.I emailed our memeber Gerard from EL and he gave me the adress of the service centre.I was surprise, but please to see that they completely replaced the movement.BIG THANKS to Edouard Lauzi¨¨res and their good after sale service. They took care of the issue quickly. Marc
Finally was able to collect an Aquanaut 5167A-001 today (attached).A proud owner of a Calatrava 5120G I long since concluded that that particular watch is for formal occasions and the Aquanaut would be the perfect, every day watch. For anyone still seeking one, my dealer told me the price goes up on 1 March so I believe I was fortunate to get one with days to spare!
I'm an avid collector of VC, JLC and vintage Heuers. I haven't made the plunge yet to PP. But for my first PP I'd like to buy one for my wife. There are two styles she was interested in. She likes all rose gold, but those can be pricey. But also she needs a daily wearer. So I was thinking starting her off in an Aquanut 5067....any other thoughts?Any other nice lady's selections?Sent from my 16M
Hi. Another thread inspired me to come up with a ridiculous hypothetical. I know that many in these forums like older Submariner designs, but still prefer reliable new/like new condition and don't want to spend vintage collector money on the old stuff. If you want to buy a new Rolex in a store, the only option is obviously the current SubC (assuming it was actually in stock. ) So, if Rolex announced today that they'd be willing to retool and make only one version of today's Sub/SubDate brand new at today's retail price, would you vote for them to simply keep making the 114060/116610, or would you ask them to switch and go back to making either the 5512/1680 or 14060/16610 versions of those watches?
