OK everyone.......As most of you know, our leader-of-the-pack here on Watch Talk Forum, Mr. John Holbrook, is quite the photographer. If you've spent any time at all on WTF, you've probably noticed this.However, rising up fast & furiously behind him has been Diver88, Mister Terry himself. In fact, he's won most, if not all, of the recent photo contests he's entered & was the winner of the All Watch Talk Forum Photo Contest last year.So - who's the better photographer? Which one captures the watches we all love so dearly the best? Who's the King Emperor between the two? Well - what better way to find out than a Photo Challenge!!!!There are 5 categories in which both John & Terry submitted an entry for a head-to-head challenge. The shots all contain the exact same model watch, the Rolex Yacht-Master. I finally pulled the trigger.
As the title states, I finally pulled the trigger on an Omega. After many trips back and forth to the AD (there is one conveniently next to my gym) and some rigerous comparisons, I ended up with the Seamaster Planet Ocean 42mm (2201.51.00). I originally went in with my eye on the 300M Chronograph, but ended up disliking the way it sat on my wrist. I have a small 6 & 1/4 wrist circumference, which is also the reason I opted for the 42mm over the 45.5mm. Upgrading from an Invicta 8926 CE (the Submariner homage), it is a world of a difference. The weight, feel, and presence of this watch is amazing. I never thought I would purchase it at Tourneau as they are typically overpriced, but when I walked in ready to buy the salesmen I had been dealing with was able to get me out the door for the same cost as I was able to located on the Internet. On to the goods...And on a completely unrelated side note I got a chance to spot my first 458 Italia in the wild the other day and thought th

Just wondering how many left handers (or the others ) there are that enjoy having crowns on the left hand side of their watch?I'm used to owning "normal" watches with the crown on the right side, but just made things just that more difficult to wind or adjust the time. bumble bee strap model number
Hi Fellow AP Fans,I just picked up a bumble bee over the weekend and wanted to swap the hornback strap for driver rubber one with tang buckle.I've spoken to few AD's in London (wempe and harrods) and they claim its not possible !Can someone please send me model numbers for Driver Rubber strap that fit on bumble bee and the black or ss tang buckle (think black one is know as survivor buckle)I was initially going to get the rubber clad but as probably be my only AP I wanted carbon model and waited abit longer. I liked look and the feel of new carbon driver but bb worked out same pricewise so seemed liked better deal to me.Seen few members post some pictures with driver strap so know its should be possible.Also if anyone know good place in UK to get these as the AD are quoting 8 week from orderGlad to finally be member of AP club and long last.many thanks in advance

2011 Omega Seamaster Planet oceans vs LE Liquid metalFrom what i have read the 2011 PO's will be 45.5mm, will they also be in 42mm? And when will they be made available at the stores?The titanium edition will have LM and by 45.5mm with the 8500 movement, come in blue - does anyone know if it will come in black?Also, I understand that all the 2011 PO's will have the 8500 movement? - with ceramic bezel, but no LM. Regarding the dial, will it have seamaster in red and black gloss dial?Apart from the case size, LE PO has LM in bezel and movement difference is there any difference between the Limited Edition LM and the new 2011 PO in black? and any ideas on store availability and prices?Appreciate there might be limited info on the new PO's. Thank you for any information you can lend.
