- While this is a good quality watch, it is not made for a er person. Its also very heavy on the wrist. I would recommend this for a women with a large wrist.

Seiko SRP169 wrist watches news:
Another new watch for Linde Werdelin in 2009 is the Oktopus. Building on the Biformeter watch case and theme, the Oktopus is a beefed up version of the models in the already sharp looking Linde Werdelin watch line. This is also the first dedicated diver¡¯s watch for the quickly growing brand ¡ª featuring a rotating diver¡¯s bezel and integrated helium escape valve. There is also the little matter of the 1,111 meters of water resistance, that is over 3,300 feet! Almost a mile underwater ¡ª at this point you are simply adding a wow factor to the watch. Even though you¡¯ll never go that deep, it does comment strongly on the secure construction of the watch, as well as the thickness of the metals and sapphire crystal used in its construction. The original Biformeter case profile was surprisingly thin. I discussed the watch at length in my review here. The Oktopus case is thicker by 1.5mm making it 13.5mm high (still not bad). The case is 46mm wide and 49mm tall. That sounds large, but it is real
Have a great 4th of July.Jocke
I noticed that the strap color nicely matches the color of my favorite Cognac!I discovered this Cognac quite some years ago when I went to buy a R¨¦my Martin Fine Champagne Cognac. The owner of the shop told me that he had something much better and at a better price too! It was from a small Chateau he found and he let me taste both the R¨¦my Martin and this Chateau de Montifaud. Needless to say that he was right and many years later this is still my favourite Cognac.I used the white box to get the watch and the glass at a better height compared to the label of the quite long bottle. The marine theme nicely matches the history of the Portuguese watch.Kind regards,Cinq
hey, i was considering my first AP and i came across this baby. What do you guys think of it? Uploaded with ImageShack.usUploaded with ImageShack.usapparently the 1st pic and the 2nd pic both have white face except the dials being black and blue.also, is there anyone who i can get in touch with regarding this model?cheers, Jon.
Incoming next week... now the wait... and a not so subtle hint:My first Speedy... well technically second. Tried out a reduced this week and it was too small even for my 6.5 wrist. I've gotten used to a little larger watches like my Sub C and a 38mm sports watch just didn't look right. Nothing against the reduced though, it was beautiful and makes me crave my 42mm Pro even more now... ahhh the wait.... maybe someone would like to post a gratuitous picture of theirs to soften the wait? Thanks guys!
