Omega 14WL wrist watches news:
Breitling decided seven years ago to take on the enormous challenge of becoming a manufacture (the ability to produce at least one movement that is developed and built in-house). This is a rarity amongst watch brands today because it takes incredible skill, determination and financial backing to achieve. Breitling did not aim for this much heralded achievement in horology simply to puff out its chest and say “Look at what we can do”, as other brands have done to simply help them gain respect. Breitling made this brave decision because they were aware that the ebauches (blank movements) they were using were becoming more and more difficult to buy in. Therefore, Breitling did not take the relatively easier route and create a simple three handed timepiece. They decided to create what is commonly known to be one of the most difficult movements to design and build to an exacting standard: the chronograph. Hi Rolex Forums, first post here.I'm in the market for an AP 15400, undecided on dial color. I'm fortunate enough to have two ADs within a short drive. Does anyone have experience on what I can expect on pricing flexibility? Will they cut a deal?I bought my Panerai from an AD and I can't say the extra cash + tax was worth the service or some sort of non existent friendship I'm suppose to have. Watch is great, but honestly when looking at what's available for no tax and a substantial discount in the trusted seller market I'm struggling with the idea of paying thousands extra to purchase from an AD.
Having lusted after one of these watches for as long as I remember , i finally had the money to be able to buy one and started searching for a two tone sub around Christmas.Forward two months of wait list and I had several AD's call me with stock , great !Went to view the first one and found the rehaut misalignment issue pictured here ( bad lighting but look at how the indcie is near enough under the backbone of the E ) :So left in favor of taking a look at some others , if this was going to be the norm i would think about living with it, the AD said Rolex told them this was within their specifications but most pictures i looked at online didn't have this issue. I had pictures sent from the AD's of 4 more watches most similar , some worse some marginally better , One looked great ! , So off I went on a few hours trip to view this watch with high hopes. Alignment was spot on but straight away when looking in hand I noticed a small mark on the 12 triangle border. Now this mark was only
