But sometimes you just want to have a face-to-face chat about watches - and that's where the Commonwealth Crew comes in.At least, that is, if you are in the Chicago area. The Commonwealth Crew is one of the newest offshoots of the rather popular Red Bar Crew out in New York. For those not familiar, that started out with a couple of guys (Dr. Jeffrey Jacques and Adam Craniotes) getting together to talk watches.That then turned into a weekly gathering that has seen many people showing up, some amazing pictures of watches out on Instagram, and even some brand participation here and there (the July Chicago meeting saw CT Scuderia sending in some samples). Suggestions for small and cheap
I would like to get a small winder to put my Longines Master Moonphase on to save me ever having to set the moonphase again. I'm looking for something with these requirements:small enough to fit in a safebattery operated (it will be in a safe)cheapI know that there are good Orbita models that fit the bill, but I will never get one past my wife. However, if I buy a cheap one then I may be able to upgrade when it dies after she has seen it in action for a while. It doesn't make great financial sense, I know. But it is the only way I will get one, so it makes sense from that perspective.One that will last for years and years is not top priority. Neither is quietness (but if I can hear it from inside the safe it won't last!). But it still can't be complete junk!Next house I hope to get this one:orbita/pages/12216.htmI just wish it came in a 12 watch version!

Leather Strap for Omega Speedmatser 3573.50
This is my first Omega (maybe my only?). Found one brand new in wrap overseas. Anyways, I'd like to get a nice leather strap for it, but I'm not sure what leather strap models will fit the 3573.50. Also, do you know if I can pick up a leather strap with the Omega watch clasp (rather than the buckle)?
